A Parkinson tremor is described as a pill-rolling action of the hands that generally appears at rest and disappears with voluntary motor movement. This type of tremor is known to be a precursor to Parkinson’s Disease.
Parkinsonian tremors are caused by damage to structures within the brain that control movement.
